Christian Community Ministries is a registered charity which looks to serve the needy in a practical caring way. At the same time we try to show the Love of Jesus Christ and to share His gospel of Repentance, Forgiveness and Reconciliation to God the Father.

Born from a God given vision received early in 1992 and much prayer, our purpose is to organise and support projects and events to enable Christians of any denomination to move out boldly into the community, to bring the Love of Jesus to those who do not know Him. The underlying principle is that by providing, in the name of Jesus, practical support to meet peoples' needs, they will come to know the true nature of God, who loves them and longs to bring them to Salvation.

Isaiah 58:10"... and if you spend yourselves on behalf of the hungry, and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness and your night will become like the noonday."

We welcome Christian workers to our existing projects but we also look to support those who are called to embark on a new caring ministry. The work of CCM is to bring people to Salvation. It must be remembered that the caring and help given is not an end in itself, but an expression of Jesus' Love.

James 2:18 "But someone will say, 'You have the faith: I have the deeds.' Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do."

We are dedicated to prayerfully learning God's Will and to giving ourselves over to the working of the Holy Spirit. We believe it is through the power of the Holy Spirit that our community will be transformed.

Acts 1:8 "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the Earth."
