Christian Community Ministries is a registered charity which looks to serve the needy in a practical caring way. At the same time we try to show the Love of Jesus Christ and to share His gospel of Repentance, Forgiveness and Reconciliation to God the Father.

Involve Your Business
There are many ways in which your business could get involved with the work of CCM and believe it or not, it's not all about money! It is the people who donate their time and energy, as well as those who give financially, who vital to the ongoing work of CCM.

Your time and energy and that of your employees is important to the success of your business, but it could mean the difference between life and death to some the homeless children and elderly we support.

How You Could Get Involved...
There are many ways in which you and your business could get involved in the work of CCM and it may not cost your business a penny! Here are some suggestions but by no means an exhaustive list.

Corporate hospitality events including a charity auction
Prompt payment scheme - improve your cashflow by encouraging your creditors to pay their bills on time by saying you will make a donation to CCM for every invoice paid on time
Provide office stationery - business often have a greater purchasing power than small charities and can secure much better prices for everyday office requirements
Provide training - our volunteers all need training in manual handling, fire safety and health and safety at work. If you regularly run these courses and would be happy for one of our volunteers to join in with these general training sessions, this would be of huge benefit to CCM
Use payroll giving to make it easier for your employees to donate to CCM - and you could be awarded the Payroll Giving Quality Mark
Provide matched funding for any of your employees taking part in fundraising events for CCM eg Walk2Romania, or our annual appeals at Harvest or Christmas
Nominate us as your Charity of the Year and hold your own fundraising events with staff and customers to raise funds
Create a collection point on your premises for staff donations to our charity shop
Donate items for our fundraising events eg the Walk2Romania or a Fashion Show etc.

Encourage Payroll Giving
Sign up to the Payroll Giving Scheme and encourage your staff to donate to CCM. To find out more, visit the HMRC Website.

Create a Collection Point
Reduce waste and encourage your staff to donate to our Charity Shop. Even if you think your shoes are too tatty and only good enough for the bin, we will still take them as we sell them on to recycling companies. We can provide you with bags, posters and leaflets - you simply provide the space. When all the donations have arrived simply call the Charity Office and we will arrange collection, and book a date for the next one!

Walk2Romania
The Walk2Romania is our main fundraising event which takes place in July around the Arley Hall estate. To find out more please visit our Walk2Romania website for more information and to register yourself or your group.
