CCM always tries to be open to God's leading. We believe it is vital that, as God's children, we are constantly listening to hear His voice and ever conscious of His guiding hand.
We receive many requests for help from all over the world and obviously we cannot respond to them all. However, sometimes, appeals will come our way that has a really special 'feel' to it. These we pray about more earnestly, to try to establish God's will and sometimes they come to nothing and sometimes they will bear fruit.
Recently, we have spoken to a couple working with Christians in Hydrabad, India. The church in Hydrabad plants small churches in the outlying villages and these church plants need our help. Most village churches meet under a tree or in simple reed buildings. They are desperate for more permanent buildings. The cost to build a simple church 8 metres by 7 metres is, believe it or not, £1,500.
We at CCM believe that it is right for us to support this work and will be sending out donations to support the building of new churches. If you would like to help us achieve that, please get in touch and we will gratefully receive any donations you would like to give. |
