| Report from Delia, Co-ordinator of Emanuel Children's Home |

According to the children’s impressions, the winter holidays were full of special events, events which have had a strong reverberation in their souls.
The celebrations started with a visit to the Oncology Hospital in the city centre. In the paediatrics section there were about 30 children with incurable diseases.
Some of them couldn’t walk, and needed wheelchairs to be able to move around, some other children were in treatment and seeing all of this has had a deep impact in our children’s hearts.
Again we have seen how true is the Word of God from book of Ecclesiastes, where is written that is better to go in a house of mourning than to go in a house of feasting, because this was a reason to start our children thinking. |

The Carol Concert, which took place on December 18th, was a reason of joy for the children. The well known Romanian singer of Gospel Music, Ramona Lup, who spent 3 weeks teaching songs, poems and biblical verses, organized this celebration. Our children love very much this very popular singer in the evangelical world from our country. It was a privilege to sing with her and her songs, which everyone love very much.
The children invited relatives, friends and classmates at this celebration. It was more than a special evening with friends, presents and festive dinner; it was an opportunity to share with our dear persons about joy of Christmas.
At this event children who lived at Emanuel took part: Ioana Sinai and Daniel Schintee, who come back to Emanuel every time when they have this opportunity to spend time with staff and children. Also Andrei, Elena, Alexandra and I tried to find some of the children who have left Emanuel Home. We found Emilia Mezei and gave her a present from CCM.
For a while some of the children spent time with their family in this vacation and they came back on 6th January when school started again.
Thank you to everyone who gave pencil cases, we were able to make Christmas very special for many children. Delia Muresan |
