News from Thailand
I have been in touch with Narin in Thailand to find out what is happening with the church and the children there. As you will know from previous Newsletters, in December they all had to move out of the premises they rented. Fortunately they were able to negotiate a short extension on their period of notice. Having bought a piece of land they now need to construct a new building for the church to meet in and also two houses for the children one each for boys and girls. In an email he says; |
We have started the building on 11th December, 2007. We have worked very hard laying out the foundation and now we finished the balance beam. Actually, we have to move out of the old building and move to the new building, but because we are very limited in terms of our finances, we can not go any further with it. We still need about 600,000 Bath or about £10,500 to complete the building.
Please consider where you might be able to help us, in “Bringing Hope” to those in need, especially the children in Thailand. We don’t know how it will happen from now because of our current rental contract expired and we can have no more extensions. Please focus in praying that we can work on immediately projects also to break through possibilities as the deadline for the final extension approaches.
Well, here’s a challenge for us! We can not go over to physically help them build, and their needs are now purely financial to buy the building materials.
Please, can I ask you to take the needs of these people to prayer? I know that like us at CCM, they see all they do as the Lord’s work and recognise that He is our provider, but let us come alongside them and intercede on their behalf to our Heavenly Father.
