Christian Community Minstries was founded in 1992 out of a God-given vision to provide relief from poverty and sickness and to further the Christian faith.
Much of CCM's early years was heavily involved in the building and setting up of Emanuel Children's Home in Romania but, more recently, we have come across a similar project in Thailand. |

Through prayer and some financial support we have begun to help Narin and Kanueng Torbprakon, a Thai missionary couple. This couple are working to reach the people of Khmer, Kui and Lao-Tai with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and in a predominantly Buddist country.
My Father's House
Narin and Kanueng have established My Father's House in the Buriram province of Thailand, which was started as a children's ministry with a focus on girls affected by the horrors of HIV, prostitution and alcoholism, or who had been orphaned or abandoned.
Today they reach young children (boys and girls), helping them come off the streets by providing them with somewhere to live, showing them the kind of decent love and care that God our Father desires for all of us. The children are introduced to the love of God and many make a commitment to Him. They have been taking part in Music Camp where they are taught some of the practicalities of worshipping with instruments and leading others in worship.
Building Project
Having been in rented accomodation for some time, land has now been purchased and plans have been drawn up for a church and 2 homes to be built. The homes will be for the children - one for the boys and another for the girls and each home will take 16 - 20 children off the street. Building started at the beginning of December 2007 but is struggling for a lack of finances.
Plabplachai Church
Narin is the Pastor of Plabplachai Church as well as coordinating the children's home with Kanueng. The leaders of the Church regularly commit to days of fasting and praying for revival in their land and for God to bless their government. The Church takes part in the Annual Christian Marching Day uniting 34 different churches from Buriram province in their witness of God's love. They also help with crusades to the unreached people in their region. |
